Tracey finalist on ‘ITV’s Lorraine Inspirational Woman of the Year’

Finalist Tracey and JAGS Staff Member Chloe on ITV’s Lorraine

Tracey is 1 of the 3 finalists for ‘ITV’s Lorraine Inspirational Woman of the Year’ award. Tracey was short-listed from over 500 applicants and is now a finalist. As part of the award she appeared on ITV’s morning show ‘Lorraine’ to talk about the organisation alongside JAGS Staff member Chloe, who nominated Tracey for the award. You can watch her interview with Lorraine Kelly here.

Tracey has said, ‘It is very humbling and feels very surreal to be short-listed for such an award. I have had an uphill struggle to raise the awareness of the devastation of youth on youth murder. This  epidemic is still claiming young people’s lives and should not be allowed to be “normalised” and the “accepted way of life” for teenagers.  I would like to thank everyone for their continuing support of JAGS in keeping hope alive in young people.  We know the difference our work can make to save one other young person’s life.

The winner will be chosen through a public vote which starts on Thursday 9th October, so please watch to find out how you can cast your votes. In the meantime please support us by sharing the good news on social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook and please tell all your friends and family!

We actively discourage any attempts to encourage multiple voting or anything else that might be seen as unfair practices.
