JAGS has worked in partnership with Student Hubs and their ‘Ethical Internship Scheme’ and from this scheme we have had students from all across the UK, including Cambridge University, Oxford University & Warwick University, along with international volunteers from France, Germany and the USA who have given their time, expertise and knowledge to develop the work of the organisation.
We have also worked alongside Croydon Voluntary Action and do-it.org, who have helped advertise the work we do at JAGS and recruit volunteers for us.
It is only with the help and support of individuals who share the passion for young people that we are able to deliver the administrative and strategic foundations that are essential for any organisation to function effectively.
We rely on our volunteers continuing commitment to work with us during the holidays or throughout the year. If you are interested in making a difference or simply passionate about community and social issues and can offer any amount of time, ranging from a few hours a week to one off volunteering or a longer term internship, we will be happy to hear from you.
JAGS will reimburse travel expenses for your time and provide you with induction training, on going support and the chance to develop and learn new skills.
